Classes Hosted Around the World
Classes Hosted Around the World
Kansas City, MO. - 2009
This was one of the first silk painting classes I ever attended and hosted when I was lived in KC. My dear friend, Jodi, came from Ohio, brought all of the supplies, and we set up the room on the IHOP-KC campus for almost 20 students to paint!
It was amazing as these fiery young men and women in the IHOPU school filled the room, released God's voice through color, and then used them as worship banners to dance with, pray with, and exalt Jesus! So much freedom and fun!

Kansas City, MO. and Israel - 2009

In Sept. of 2009, the Lord opened amazing doors for me to not only teach silk painting to the youth in schools and sell my prophetic art in a local pottery store, but to go to Israel with the IHOP Dance Team to establish dance in 6 houses of prayer!
Each experience grew and stretched me in the Lord, as I partnered with Him to teach and equip others how to release God's voice through movement and color. Dancing in the prayer rooms in Israel were especially powerful as they only sang in Hebrew, so we truly had to move by the leading of the Holy Spirit alone. It was a life-changing trip!
Kansas City, MO. - 2010
In Jan. 2010, the Lord moved me into a home with space for an art studio in the basement, so I could start having classes in my home! Over the next 2 years, I hosted countless classes with people from all over the world...thanks to my new home being only 1 mile from the International House of Prayer (IHOP-KC), where people from all over came to visit the 24/7 prayer room.
My very first class was attended by my spiritual parents, Dave and Barb, who owned the pottery store that displayed my hand-painted silks. I'm so grateful for their constant encouragement, support, and love.

Tyrone, GA. - 2013

I moved from KC to Atlanta in Nov. 2012, where I had classes everywhere! ...outdoors on patios, indoors in dining halls, out at a local art studios, and more! There was so much hunger and excitement to try something new.
One of those new things was a team building class with over 25 women for Freedom Climb, where they painted 3 large silks together to not only pray and intercede for their climb, but then they took the silks with them during the climb as intercession. This was an amazing group of women!
Peachtree City, GA. - 2014
In March 2014, I was blessed to open a creative arts prayer room called, Emerge, and before I even hung things on the wall, I had my first silk painting class on Jan. 16th! For the next 17 months, we had countless classes with all ages of people come.
We taught on prayer, worship, prophetic dance, prophetic art, and more! I loved getting to meet, connect, and build a community of creatives and prayer warriors, and glorify Jesus together through the creatives arts!

Cincinnati, OH. - 2011

Whenever I traveled home to OH, friends often hosted classes at their church. This class was the largest one that I'd ever done with over 20 people, filled with all ages, and lots of extra helpers, including my sweet nephew!
This class had an extra bonus of teaching on worship, movement, and the meanings of colors, that was held in the church gymnasium, so I was able to activate and release them in movement with the silk scarves. It was a beautiful and powerful time!

Columbus, OH. - 2011
Columbus, OH. has been one of my "home away from homes" since 2006, where I have dear friends and ministry partners at two churches in the area. They love the creative arts, and have hosted many silk painting classes over the past 20 years, as well as dance workshops, women's gatherings, and more!
The ministry time in these classes is always extra special, as you can see and feel how much they love one another, as they pray and speak into each other's paintings.

Hong Kong & Japan - 2014

In May 2014, I was privileged to minister to the 400 crew members of the Logos ship for 6 days as it sailed from Hong Kong to Japan. I was not only able to teach worship dance and a prayer meditation class, to help them hear the voice of God, but the Lord divinely orchestrated it for me to also share my personal testimony of redemption through dance and drama to the crew members, as well as to 300 Japanese people who boarded the ship. It was beautiful to see and hear the testimonies of how the Lord touched hearts and changed lives through it all!
South Africa - 2014
I can't say enough about S. Africa and the amazing experience I had teaching about movement, dance, and prophetic art. We had 4 different silk painting classes in Pretoria and Cape Town, including one class that my friend, Heather, hosted at her home.
These groups of young men and women were so hungry and passionate for the Lord, and their freedom when we worshiped in movement was so powerful....so many special moments. It was also my first time to take my supplies overseas, and since I couldn't fit the silk painting frames on the plane, they built one for me out of bamboo! How cool is that?! So much love to you always, SA...

Kansas City, MO. - 2020-22
In June 2021, I had my first ever vendor booth at the Sidewalk Arts Fair at IHOP-KC, and had so much fun! In addition to selling items, and having class sign-ups, I did interactive silk painting for those passing by, and it was a hit! People of all ages spontaneously got to experience how to partner with the Holy Spirit through color, and were then able to purchase their completed silk if they chose to. I would totally do this again!

Johannesburg, S. Africa - 2014

After leaving Pretoria, I got to spend 2 weeks in Johannesburg, and was so richly blessed by this class...not only did 3 of them blow the shofar to open the class and share deep insights throughout the prayer time, but the level of creativity released through the silks was stunning!
Afterwards, joy was released in the room as they interceeded through movement with the silks, and had a beautiful time of ministry over me...washing my feet, praying over me, and blessing me in a way I've never experienced before. The love of the Lord through them was so tangible and left me changed forever!

Dallas, TX. - 2022-23

This season in TX was a time of growth, expansion, and new beginnings as so many new things were being birthed. I got my first custom order for a set of worship flags, I bought my first sewing machine, and learned how to sew.
I was introduced to water marbling and began making marbled fabrics and sewing them into clothing, as well as making marbled cards and prints. It was an incredibly hard, but amazing season all at the same time. ...Oh, and I was also able to host a couple silk paintung classes as well!

Eatonton, GA. - 2024
A dear friend of mine, Deborah, hosted this special class with several close friends of hers on her property in their outdoor/screened-in pavilion, and it was perfect!
The bond between these friends was beautiful as they shared the story behind their paintings...the prayers, meaningful words, and ministry of the Holy Spirit was unforgettable. ...And our sweet furry friend, Sophie, made it extra special as always!
Hamilton, OH. - 2025

This class was a full-circle moment because the woman who hosted the class (Dana) was there 20 years ago co-leading the weekend workshop where I was first introduced to silk painting! We didn't know each other then and haven't been in contact at all until this year! What a gift to reconnect, and what a blessing to have this class at her church!
It was also an extra special class because my 86-year old Mom was there, along with old friends and brand new friends. :)
Columbus, OH. - Apr. 2025
It's always a treasure being back in Columbus and reconnecting with dear friends of over 20 years, as well as meeting new friends. This class also had the largest age span I've ever had...from 3 yrs old up to 80+ years old! :) So fun!
The ministry time was so rich, deep, and meaningful as we prayed over each person and their silk. It's always an extra special time here, as you can see and feel how much they love one another...there were beautiful tears of joy, peace, laughter, and love!

Monroe, GA. - 2025
In Sept. and Nov. 2025, I had the opportunity to host two classes at an Assisted Living Community, and it was amazing! I loved how these women who didn't even know me jumped right into something new...not afraid to let go of control, paint with the Holy Spirit, listen for His voice, and pray over one another for God's heart.
As the class went on, I saw childlike freedom being released, hearts being encouraged, and joy coming into the room. Jesus always shows up, and this class was no exception!
